Ever struggle to look through glass? With a wide field of view in a lightweight package, Holosun seeks to solve this issue, offering more glass in a small size with a modest price point.
The new Holosun Advanced Enclosed Micro Sight (AEMS) weighs 3.9 oz. and is designed for various applications. At 54mm long, 36mm wide, and 43 mm tall, it is 11% shorter in length than standard 20mm micro-style optics but with twice the lens surface area. This provides a wider field of view.
Included in the package is a removable Picatinny lower 1/3 co-witness mount. Absolute co-witness mounts are sold separately. This capability makes the AEMS viable for use across various platforms, firearms and shooting styles.
7075 aluminum encases the large viewfinder with clear, removable/serviceable lens covers. The left side of the unit has two intensity adjustment buttons. A 2032 battery fits in the right side, though you likely won’t be replacing it. One battery lasts up to 50,000 hours. A shake-awake system sends the optic into sleep mode to preserve battery life but is immediately ready for use. Still worried? The Solar Failsafe powers the AEMS and adjusts the illumination to fit various lighting conditions. The AEMS features multiple reticles: a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle and a circle-dot. Green and red illumination is available.
