In its 25th year, HIVIZ® Shooting Systems is not only expanding its workforce, but also its focus into the government and airsoft sectors. This is an important advancement in the future of the company and HIVIZ is excited to announce the promotion of Lanny Barnes as the Director of LE/MIL & Airsoft Sales to help spearhead these new programs. Barnes joined HIVIZ in 2019 as the Director of Commercial Sales and has helped the company pave new paths in her role and increase brand recognition.
“The dedication and passion that Lanny brought to HIVIZ has enabled her to excel in the sales arena,” said Joey Turbeville, HIVIZ CEO. “We look forward to having her spearhead these new avenues and to continuing to expand the HIVIZ brand.”
A native of Durango, Colorado, Barnes’ professional experience includes more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing within the firearms and ski industries. She received a degree in Kinesiology and Physiology from Colorado Mesa University and is also a three-time Biathlon Olympian and several time National and World 3-Gun Champion. She is currently competing professionally as one of the top 3-gun female shooters in the country and is a seven-year member of the HIVIZ Pro Staff Multi-Gun Team.
Lanny also spends her free time teaching courses to military, law enforcement and competitive shooters on how to shoot with an elevated heart rate and under stress. When not on the range, she and her twin sister also travel around to schools and clubs talking to younger generations about following their dreams, setting goals, and leading a healthy and active lifestyle. Lanny also continues to make dreams come true by taking wounded vets and terminally ill kids on hunts through Freedom Hunters and OE4A.
