We’ve all had a similar call: “All units, rolling road hazard, I-65 Southbound….”
The vehicle in the photo was recently purchased a wide selection of high-quality raw lumber from a auction and decided to take it home. Unfortunately, the not-so-bright motorist only had his clapped-out Volvo sedan to transport said lumber. So, he simply stuffed the vehicle full and drove down the middle of the interstate at 40 mpg.
By the time he got stopped, there was a 3-mile backup of enraged drivers behind him. 911 calls ranged from “There’s an airplane going down the interstate” to “I’m going to kill this guy if you don’t get him stopped!”
Every day you think “I’ve seen it all”…..and they you go back on duty!
